The Situation
A front moves from the South Island onto the North Island today, while a ridge of high pressure moves onto the South Island. On Saturday the front moves away to the east, and a ridge of high pressure builds over New Zealand.A ridge of high pressure dominates northern and central New Zealand. A weak front moves east across the lower South Island early Monday followed by another on Tuesday.
