The Situation

A disturbed westerly flow persists over New Zealand during most of the forecast period. An active front embedded within the flow crosses the country today,while another front spreads north over New Zealand Wednesday and Thursday. A brief ridge swings across Aotearoa on Friday,followed by another active low approaching from the Tasman Sea.
