The Situation

A front moves up the South Island today, and onto the North Island on Monday,followed by cold southwesterlies. A low develops over central New Zealand late Tuesday, then moves away to the east on Wednesday as a trough crosses the South Island. A strong southwest flow remains over the country on Thursday.
