A ridge of high pressure slowly moves east of the country today. A low pressure system and its associated fronts move onto the country tomorrow, with a strong, humid northerly flow.A trough with associated fronts moves slowly eastwards across New Zealand on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, a ridge of high pressure spreads onto the country from the Tasman Sea.
